Certified Florida Farm Wineries

There are currently 21 wineries in Florida which have earned the title of “Certified Florida Farm Winery”. These range in size from the largest Florida winery Lakeridge Winery in Clermont to much smaller family-operated wineries producing wonderful products from a variety of Florida Agriculture you would not consider for wine making such as Citrus, Jalapeno Peppers, and even Dandelion petals.

Below is a map of these wonderful wineries throughout all of Florida.

If a winery is not on the map, then they may be too new for the certification or do not meet the requirements. Requirements to make this list are:

  1. Prioritize Local Produce: A significant portion of their wine (at least 60% of the wine produced) must be made from state agricultural products grown right here in Florida. This means when you sip their wine, you’re often tasting the essence of local fruits, berries, or grapes.
  2. Be an Active Farm: They need to maintain an operating vineyard or farm with a minimum of 5 acres of Florida land that produces commodities used in their winemaking.
  3. Production Limits: They must produce and sell less than 250,000 gallons of wine annually.
  4. Welcome the Public: These wineries are required to be open to the public for tours, tastings, and sales for at least 30 hours each week. This makes them fantastic destinations for both locals and tourists looking for an authentic Florida experience.
  5. Annual Certification: It’s not a one-time deal. Wineries must apply annually to FDACS for certification, ensuring they consistently meet these standards.
