St. Augustine Distillery - Florida Drinkeries

Located in historic Saint Augustine is a distillery – St. Augustine Distillery. The distillery is located in the historic FPL Ice plant which is over 100 years old – the distillery presents an impression of quality and class. At St. Augustine they produce a variety of spirits including Bourbons, Rums, Gin, Vodka as well as several mixers and other products.

In August 2016 St. Augustine Distillery announced they were the first Florida distillery to put bourbon into a barrel since prohibition. The spirits in the first release were aged between 16 and 28 months. Due to Florida’s heat and differences in barometric pressure, spirits will age differently and faster in Barrels than in locations farther north. Whiskey at Saint Augustine is aged in new wine quality 25-gallon and seasoned 53-gallon barrels.
