Heading into Dunedin Florida? Well here is a good list of a lot of great spots to visit for a variety of home brews, drinks, food and fun. Dunedin is located in Pinellas County Florida along the western side of the county right off the intercoastal waterway. The town has Scottish roots founded in 1850 when it was founded as Jonesboro by George Jones, and later in 1899 incorporated as the town of Dunedin.  The sister city of Dunedin is Stirling, Scotland.

With Dunedin’s heritage being Scottish, it is also known as home to the largest St. Patrick’s day festival in Florida and home to the April for the Dunedin Highland games. Dunedin is also known for their annual Mardi Gras festival.

The Pinellas Trail is a bicycling and walking trail that runs directly through the heart of Dunedin where many of the breweries, restaurants and local hotspots reside. Dunedin is home to one distillery, wine shops, a number of pubs and ten microbreweries including the Dunedin Brewery which is both the oldest microbrewery in Florida and the first in our list here.

The breweries in Dunedin share a friendship with many of these locals working together to make the community successful.
