This Speakeasy is a modern lounge located adjacent to Taco Kat restaurant, but with the primary entrance being through the soda machine at the restaurant. The bar is a modern designed nightclub with an open window/wall to the Orlando street for sitting though the entrance is through the restaurant. I stopped in before it got busy, so I ate at the Taco bar next door. The food was very good for the restaurant type – Not a high end restaurant but very good and satisfying. The soda machine is the entrance into the bar next door.
This bar is not really hidden as that there is an open window area onto the street where you can settle down and watch folks passing by. The entrance though is through the restaurant and through the soda machine. Tall folks though need to be away to duck – I did at 6’2 as I brushed against the low entranceway.
The restaurant and bar on not on the main drag through downtown Orlando but are on a busy secondary road alongside with popular bars and restaurants all around. This is definitely a place to put on your list and will be on our Orlando Downtown Drinkery trail article.
